The Egyptian Society of Breast Surgery provides a national platform for education, scientific collaboration and professional development in breast surgery and breast care. Through its activities, the Society supports the advancement of clinical practice, research and multidisciplinary engagement across the specialty.

ESBS Membership Categories
ESBS offers membership categories that reflect different stages of professional practice and levels of contribution to the Society.
Active Member
For surgeons with appropriate professional experience who meet the membership requirements and are accepted by the Society.
- Full participation in ESBS activities.
- General Assembly participation where applicable.
- Eligibility for Society roles in accordance with the bylaws.
- Suitable for consultants and established breast surgeons.
Associate Member
For trainees, early-career doctors and colleagues with a professional interest in breast surgery and breast care.
- Access to educational activities.
- Scientific and professional development opportunities.
- Participation in ESBS programmes and events.
- Potential involvement in Society projects and initiatives.
Honorary Member
For distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to breast surgery, education, research or the Society.

Application and Subscription
Application Review and Membership Approval
Submission of a membership application does not automatically confer membership. Applications are reviewed according to ESBS governance, eligibility criteria and approval procedures.
Joining fees and annual subscriptions are determined by the Society’s bylaws. Applicants receive confirmation and payment instructions after successful review.

What Happens After You Apply?
Applications are reviewed through the Society’s membership process. Once approved, applicants receive confirmation and membership activation details.
Submit Application
Complete the online membership form and upload supporting documents.
Membership Review
Applications are reviewed according to ESBS eligibility criteria and governance procedures.
Receive Confirmation
Approved applicants receive confirmation and any applicable subscription instructions.
Become Involved
Participate in educational activities, meetings, research initiatives and Society programmes.

Membership Fees and Subscriptions
Membership fees are determined by the Society’s bylaws. Membership becomes active only after successful review, approval and completion of the applicable payment process.
Application Fee
200 EGP Paid when applying for membership
Payment of the application fee does not itself confer membership. Applications remain subject to review and approval.
Consultant / Specialist
3000 EGP Annual membership subscription
Applicable to consultants, specialists and doctors more than ten years from specialty qualification.
Doctor in Training
1500 EGP Annual trainee subscription
A reduced annual subscription is available for doctors in training to support participation in ESBS activities and education.
